As part of our study of cultural storytelling, students created their own proverbs about life. Students found and discussed proverbs from around the world. Next, they wrote their own. Pretty insightful for 8th graders. Then, they had to add an image to each of their proverbs.

Terea, This is a great project idea. I love Tiffany’s – Be the flower that grows in the desert. And Joshua’s – Treasures are found in others blindness. I think this is a perfect example of tech giving an assignment so much more depth. It looks like the students really enjoyed this assignment. Their sites and the activities that you are working on with them are providing a really positive footprint they can be proud of.
